Communications Workers of America publicly praised AT&T's proposed purchase of T-Mobile USA, in a deal that was announced in early April.

National Journal's Tech Daily Dose recently reported why CWA is in favor of AT&T being the acquiring company:

"AT&T will mean better employment security and a management record of full neutrality toward union membership and a bargaining voice."
