CWA Senior Director George Kohl in Politico on T-Mobile Acquisition
The Communications Workers of America's Senior Director for Research and Development George Kohl was featured in Politico's Morning Tech on April 19, talking about AT&T's acquisition of T-Mobile USA:
"We caught up with George Kohl of the Communications Workers of America, who explained the union's position on AT&T's proposed purchase of T-Mobile. T-Mobile was going to be sold to either AT&T or Sprint, and AT&T was the better option for a number of reasons, he said. "America needs broadband build out, and Sprint wasn't able to do it for both financial and technical reasons," Kohl said. AT&T is also much more union-friendly than Sprint has been.
