Survey: Internet is go-to source for candidate information

A recent survey found that Americans are relying on the Internet as a source of information about presidential candidates more than ever before. The poll found that the Internet is the primary source of information about presidential candidates for 48 percent of respondents. Younger people were even more likely to use the Internet to find out about candidates. But because candidates and their supporters are making more and more use of online video, people with slower Internet access or no access at all are being cut off from part of the conversation.
